Veterinary Teaching Hospital

The Lodi University Veterinary Hospital started its activity in March 2005 and was inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Mr. Carlo Azelio Ciampi, on 8 December of the same year. For the time being, animals and  production animals  such as cattle, horses, pigs and sheeps are mainly housed and treated, although some services, such as magnetic resonance imaging, are also open to pets.

At the University Hospital, the activity develops in three main areas, deeply integrated with each other: veterinary, teaching and research. This activity is indispensable to introduce the student of Veterinary Medicine into the clinical practice that is carried out at the Hospital by high-quality teachers from the professional subjects and is supported by state-of-the-art facilities and means.

The hospital is headquartered in Lodi, whose health director is Prof. Davide Pravettoni and a headquarter in Milan, whose health director is prof. Damiano Stefanello
